Help unleash your prowess, build self confidence, and emote to connect with the audience. In this class you will be led through a discussion, dance warm-up to get into the body, walking the floor, staging routines, and capturing moments of stillness, movement, and eye contact to support the character you are emoting to extend your energy out beyond the stage. By the end of class, whether you perform on stages big or small, this class will have audiences at your full attention. You’re invited to come play regardless of gender, age or dance experience. This class is sensual.Bring heels and an open mind.

ABout Ms. B LaRose-

Current title holder of ‘The Biggest Tease’ from the International Latine-Hispanic Burlesque Festival, Ms. B LaRose is an international award winning burlesque headliner serving up a side of fireworks teaching her popular stage confidence classes across the world with stops in Chicago, New York, Portland & Canada!

So, you want to do floorwork, but how do you get to the floor? Better yet, how do you get back up once you're down? In this class we will go over ways to get on and off the floor to make your transitions seamless and smooth. Class consists of a warm up, some drills and a fun piece of choreography to get you on and off the floor, plus some extra floor noodling! No prerequisites. Heels optional, knee padding recommended. 

About Dahlia- Dahlia Fatale (she/her) is an award-winning, travelling contortionist, burlesque performer and instructor. In class, Dahlia brings together unique perspectives from dance, circus and anatomy education (yes, she's touched muscles from the inside too!) to create a comprehensive experience that helps students to expand their movement vocabularies and physical awareness. She believes in movement for all humans, loves solving the puzzles of the body, and takes great pride in watching students grow and develop their styles, personas, and abilities!

EmPath for Autism Foundation's first fundraising event, Circus Bizircus, is designed to delight your senses, while benefiting The Kelly O'Leary Center for Autism of Cincinnati Children's Hospital.

Circus Bizircus is designed to raise awareness for how someone on the autism spectrum might view the world around them. Circus Bizircus has teamed up with some of Cincinnati's greats: The Transept with curated menus od passed hors d' oeuvres and custom cocktails by DelightMore, music by DJ Etrayn, Tim Goldrainer of The Menus as Emcee, Cincy Circus with circus style performances, East to Vest Productions with creative costuming, and Brave Berlin producing a mind-blowing light show! We are also featuring a live and silent auction. This will be the start of what could be viewed as Cincinnati's own, Met Gala. Any style or theme is welcome!
