Queen bee cabaret is supporting this amazing event featuring some of our honey bee musicians!
The Civic Garden Center has teamed up with College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) graduates Romel Sims (Trumpet, Chicago-based) and Colin Palmieri (Saxophone, Cincinnati-based) to produce an elevated musical experience that enchants the senses and takes guests on an interconnected journey through nature and sound. Dress in your garden best for this unique adventure amidst the CGC's urban oasis!
Garden-inspired non-alcoholic beverages will be served.
Doors open at 5pm. This is an outdoor concert that will take place between the Bottlebrush Buckeye and the gazebo at Hauck Botanic Garden.

About Ella:
Ella Bottom Rouge hails from Milan Italy and is the modern embodiment of the italian divas of the 1950s. Her catchphrase – The Mediterranean Wave of Burlesque – sums up her essence: curvaceous figure, caramel-colored skin, a cascade of black curls and a strong scent of wild jasmine.
She studied acting and directing and when she discovered burlesque, she was fascinated. She trained with the best national and international performers, and continues to do so, driven by curiosity and the need to evolve. Her style, like a multifaceted diamond, has thus become an explosive mix of glamour and burlesque, with a touch of fetish and a dash of comedy. She is the founder of the Rouge Academy and is known for her LGBTQIA+ activism.

About Setty mois:
Lifelong dance classes brought her on stage. Ballet for over 20 years, Jazz for over 10, ballroom for over 5 and some years of bellydance, hip hop, tap dance.
For over 8 years she has been a successful, professional burlesque performer. For about 4 years now she has been sharing her expertise with burlesque interested students around the globe.

Ready to make your dream of becoming a burlesque artist a reality? this is for you! we will learn about the history of burlesque, creating costumes and concepts, pastie making and getting you to the stage in a real show by the end of this course!
This series includes 6 weeks of class, a bonus pastie making class with supplies provided and a student showcase on July 31st at second sight spirits.

THIS WORKSHOP IS ALL ABOUT THE BASICS. IT IS A GREAT PLACE TO START IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO BEGIN YOUR BURLESQUE JOURNEY OR JUST GET MOVING IN A FUN AND SENSUAL WAY. IT IS ALSO A GREAT WAY FOR MORE EXPERIENCED BURLESQUE PERFORMERS TO GET GROUNDED IN THE BASICS OR EXPAND THEIR MOVEMENT REPERTOIRE.
*THIS WORKSHOP WILL BE A PREREQUISITE TO BLOOMING BURLESQUE (BEGINNER ACT DEVELOPMENT) AND BEEYOND THE DEBUT (INTERMEDIATE BURLESQUE)*
THROUGHOUT THIS COURSE WE WILL BUILD ON MOVES, LEARN COMBOS TO PRACTICE AT HOME AND BREAK DOWN WORKING WITH DIFFERENT CLOTHING PIECES/ PROPS. ALL WHILE HAVING FUN AND GETTING A WORKOUT IN!

Floorwork-Sexy Moves on the Ground with Esme!
Let's slink around on the floor! Learn floor work moves and choreography with this expert in crawling around on stages. Open to all levels. Bring comfortable clothings that allow movement and make you feel good and confident. Leggings, leotard, tights, shorts, etc. Knee pads recommended but not mandatory. Heels optional but bring them if you want to practice in them.
About esme:
Esmé is a burlesque and exotic dancer based in NYC. With experience in ballet, contemporary and jazz dance and teaching dance fitness, hiit, & pilates over the years.
She has been crawling all over the stages, floors and bars of NYC (and beyond) for the past 6 years.
As I like to say, I’m always ready to get down on the floor because that was I don’t really have to worry about tripping on air in my heels
We will get down and dirty and very familiar with the floor.

This open level class will empower you to move with intention and unleash your feminine power through the exploration of sacral movement. This class will focus on finding your groove using whining techniques from Caribbean and African cultures. You will learn a series of restorative and sensual movements using the waistline and hips. We will focus on clarity and master the art of simplicity while building confidence in your movement. The techniques learned in class will enhance your personal movement quality, ignite your feminine expression, and build your confidence.
