‘Lovely Lines & Musicality with Rosie Tulips

Exploring musicality and movement with a real live Sugar Plum Fairy. A Ballet background is helpful but not required. Starting with a warm up to strengthen and stretch, we will work on graceful movement, clean lines and thoughtful staging. Wear clothes you can move in that accentuate your beautiful body. Bring comfortable heels for dancing and gloves for peeling.

About Rosie:

Rosie is a classically trained Ballerina from NYC. Stage credits: NYCB, Miami City Ballet, Pennsylvania Ballet, Madison Ballet & Phantom of the Opera North American Tour. Film credits: Balanchine’s The Nutcracker & Black Swan Dir. Darren Aronofsky. This Feisty Flower had the honor of beginning her Burlesque journey at the New York School of Burlesque in 2019. She has since established herself as a part of the NYC Burlesque scene performing regularly at The Slipper Room, Ethyl’s Alcohol, Nurse Bettie, The Jazz Club with Brian Newman & more. Rosie has been invited to perform at the Show Me Burlesque Festival, New York Burlesque Festival, Teaserfest New Orleans, Hollywood Burlesque Festival and the Miss Coney Island Pageant. Rosie Co - Produced ForbHidden People; An Elven Burlesque Revue, for Iceland’s Fringe Festival in 2024. She’s Co - Founder of Books & Burlesque; a show that combines up & coming new authors with Burlesque and Drag performers. Rosie's therapist says she uses performing as a way to escape from reality...but Rosie doesn't see a problem with that. Her goal as a performer is to bring you with her on this journey of dissociation to escape the madness of our world. Art is her love language. She’s the Burlesque Ballerina of Washington Heights, the high priestess of high kicks, the thrice divorced and thorny, Rosie Tulips!!
